A friend of ours and his daughter bought us a box of chocolates from Cacao, a French chocolate shop, in Bethesda, MD. I had a few yummy bites and then I put the box in the back of our kitchen cabinet, otherwise known as the ABYSS.
That was a few months ago.
Today, I’m cleaning out the cabinet and I find this box of chocolates. It must be more than a few months old because I’ve since found out that Cacao closed its doors back in December of 2011. I hate throwing away good chocolate, but at least the fancy box is recyclable.
Au revoir, Cacao, and au revoir, old box of chocolates.
